The word is that the next most anticipated game of the year will receive and Official Downloadable demo for both the PS3 and the XBOX 360 on August 21. Lucas arts say the the Demo will consist of one complete level which will pit us against a powerful Jedi and involve rather a lot of fighting. In an interview on videogamer.com its been revealed that the PS3 version of the popular survival horror franchise isn’t performing as well as expected in terms of frame rate, and so its release will be withheld until PS3 owners get the game they deserve.

Yes, you read it right. The XBOX 360’s critically acclaimed shooter is heading for the PS3 some time soon. According to CVG who have broken the story online, the next issue of PSM3, a UK Playstation magazine, will feature an in-depth preview of the PS3 version. Well obviously there was always going to be a sequel to last years Game of The Year, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, in fact speculation has been rife since the December last year, but finally we now have confirmation from none other than the CEO of Activision himself. Call of Duty 5 should see a release this Autumn, using the COD4 engine, and this time featuring a new “military theatre”.
