Alone in the Dark Delayed for the PS3
In an interview on videogamer.com its been revealed that the PS3 version of the popular survival horror franchise isn’t performing as well as expected in terms of frame rate, and so its release will be withheld until PS3 owners get the game they deserve.
We didn’t want it to come out and have less of an experience for the PS3 gamer.We wanted to tweak that up and make sure they get the best experience on PS3 as much as possible.”
Hm, well Alone in the Dark for the PS3 would appear to be slated for an October release, but who knows? The Xbox 360 version will be released on June 20 in the UK so by the time October rolls around will anybody even care? Interesting though that the developers are sticking with a summer release of this game on the other other consoles when it would appear that they have a ready made excuse to delay the launch for the more lucrative Christmas market.
