Sales of the Playstation 3 are lagging behind those of the XBOX 360 by as much as 18% this month. Apparantly the Sales of the 360 surged with the release of GTA 4 last month. Even worse, GTA 4 may have sold over 1.3 million copies in the UK but the split favours the XBOX 360 again with a total of 57% (or 750,000 copies) of sales being attributed to the XBOX 360 console, compared to 43% (around 570,000 copies) on the PS3.
However, all is not lost. Looking at the …

Yes, you read it right. The XBOX 360’s critically acclaimed shooter is heading for the PS3 some time soon. According to CVG who have broken the story online, the next issue of PSM3, a UK Playstation magazine, will feature an in-depth preview of the PS3 version. Bioshock was originally an XBOX 360 exclusive, so us PS3 owners could only watch with envious eyes as many people’s game of the year for 2007 stayed tantalisingly out of reach. However, rumours of a PS3 version have been bubbling for some time so …

There seems to have been conflicting reports recently over whether we in the UK and Europe will get our own Special Edition PS3 in Gun Metal Grey and bundled with Metal Gear Solid 4. Gamespot says we are not, having confirmed with Konami that the Gun Metal PS3 will only be available in the US through konami’s online store. I’m so excited I cant sit still.

Not even this months Official Playstation Magazine carries a review, now why is this? Is it really not as good as we all hoped it would …

No sooner has the hype surrounding the recent release of GTA 4 died down than we have another upcoming franchise installment to get all excited about. Metal Gear Solid 4 hits the shelves in June and the Official Playstation Magazine has the Scoop of the being the first publication anywhere to review it. The issue goes on Sale the 16/05 so I haven’t read it yet, but unsurprisingly word has leaked out (as much as a PR exercise as anything else) and the man who reviewed it is definitely …

Produced by Digital Extremes, Dark Sector, has been almost 4 years in the making, and on the face of it seems time has been a fickle mistress.
It is clear from the outset that Dark Sector is a game with one original premise: when things get killed they bleed a lot – now lets make that into a story. From this point the developers seem to have been influenced by other titles that have launched in the meantime. In the main this isn’t a bad thing, the cover system for example …
