PS3 vs Xbox 360 vs Nintendo wii

Well, since we have no further news about the PS3 Lite I’ve decided to keep abreast of general PS3 news and in the last week the sales figures for all 3 major consoles has been announced and guess what - the PS3 is finally starting to gain market share in 2008. January was the best month yet for Sony’s Flagship console, outselling the XBOX 360 and the Nintendo DS. In fact it even gave the Nintendo Wii a run for its money. The official figures are as follows:

• Nintendo Wii 274K
• Sony PS3 269K
• Sony PS2 264K
• DS Lite 251k
• Xbox 360 230K
• PSP 230K

So its finally looking good for the PS3 (as if we ever doubted it) and with the future promise of some top quality games (as well as the PS3 Lite) it looks good for Sony over the coming months..
