Earlier this year T3 announced that they have it on good authority that Sony is planning to launch a Slim and Lite edition of their flagship high definition console, the Play Station 3. We dont know if this is true or not at the moment and Sony, as ever is refusing to comment. However we thought it would be a good idea to use this website to keep you updated with the latest news of the PS3 lite as we get it.

I dunno if this is will happen as soon as this autumn. Would be great if it did!!
it looks like a nintendo wii and a slim ps3 combined but it will sell.
hmm, lets see here…
xbox 360, wii: console sold cheap with less features, but with features sold seprately.. a good marketing choice.
so it took sony 3 years to finally realize, that by cutting the fat, and selling that fat seperate from a now low cost console would be a better marketing choice? hmmm, that is suprising…
seems sonys been doing alot better after these threats from game dev’s…
but its good to see sony maturing.
